Steelhouse Festival is delighted to announce TROOPER Beer, created, of course, by Iron Maiden and handcrafted by Robinsons Brewery, as its headline sponsor for the 2017 Festival. Promoter Mikey Evans said, “It’s a huge step for both Steelhouse and TROOPER in that it’s our first ever stage sponsor and it is the first time that TROOPER has formed a naming partnership of this kind. We’re very proud to announce this alliance; it’s a perfect match. Both of us value integrity and have a very real passion for what we do”.
Steelhouse Festival will run between 29 and 30 July 2017.
Co-Promoter Max Rhead added, “TROOPER really understands where we’re coming from. We’re are a completely independently run festival. When we say it’s run by real rock fans for rock fans, we truly mean it. TROOPER recognises this and were kind enough to invite some of the Steelhouse family – the incredible volunteers who make the whole event run – down to Maiden’s sold out Cardiff show for what was an amazing night.’
Adds a spokeperson for TROOPER Beer: “After an incredible activation programme on the Iron Maiden UK Tour our headline stage sponsorship of the Steelhouse Festival is the perfect pinnacle for the brand’s concert strategy in 2017. The reaction to the beer here previously has made this a simple choice and a great way to ensure Steve’s band, British Lion don’t run out of TROOPER when they perform there on Sunday!”
Launched in May 2013, TROOPER has proved to be a global success story. Having sold 15 million pints in four years, the Premium British Beer is now being exported to over 50 countries and has already been awarded multiple Gold & Silver Medals by the British Bottlers’ Institute amongst others. TROOPER has proved unusually resilient overseas for a new beer, maintaining its stunning initial export success with repeated high volume orders across some of the world’s leading importers.
TROOPER’s involvement adds yet another incredible name to the Steelhouse 2017 offering. With Skindred, Saxon, Rival Sons, Last In Line, British Lion and many, many more already confirmed, this year’s event is looking better than ever!
